RIFF’s Healthcare Defenders section receives over 1200 works

The Healthcare Defenders section of the 16th Resistance International Film Festival (RIFF) has received more than 1200 titles.

The festival’s Public Relations and Information Center announced that the secretariat has received 130 short documentaries, 14 long documentaries, 100 short narrative films, 41 animations, 39 video clips and 13 motion graphics in the national category.

The submitted works to the international category of the Healthcare Defenders section include 7 feature films, 564 short films, 37 documentary features, 154 short documentaries, 78 animations, 56 video clips, and 26 film scripts.

Ahad Mikaeelzadeh, the festival’s Media Department director, recently said the 16th RIFF will be online. The organizers announced that the festival will be held in different time brackets, the first of which will take place during the Sacred Defense Week on September 21-28.

The RIFF is organized annually to commemorate the anniversary of the 1980-1988 Iraq-Iran war, also known as the Sacred Defense in Iran.

The second stage will be held on November 21-27 to celebrate the anniversary of Basij Day, which falls on November 25.

An exhibition of photos and posters on the medical staff is also scheduled on the sidelines of the event.

The RIFF, one of the most prestigious international film festivals in Iran, is dedicated to productions on wars and the repercussions of armed conflicts in the world.
